3rd Annual Floyd Young Life 5k & Fun Run

Date: May 12th
Time: 5k Run/Walk starts at 9 am. Fun Run festivities begin 8:30
Place: Floyd County High School: 721 Baker St. Floyd, Va
Registration: Opens at 8:00 am. Race packets may be picked up from 8:00-8:45 on race day for 5K participants.
FREE T-shirts Designed by FCHS Student!
Entry Fees:5k Run/Walk: $20 before May 1st-$25 after May 1st
1 mile fun walk/run – $10
FREE T-shirts Designed by FCHS Student!

Awards will be given to the top three Male & Female finishers!
Age Brackets top finishers will be recognized.
All Fun Run participants receive a ribbon!

The Floyd County Harvest Festival and County Fair is held one Saturday per year to celebrate the area’s heritage in local arts, crafts and agricultural traditions.

The fair features live music, art & crafts, country living exhibits & demonstrations, games, contests, food and more. Don’t miss the apple pie contest!

The event is moving to a new location this year. It will be held at the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office grounds on Fox Street, in downtown Floyd. The date and time will be Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
