Floyd County Fair Is Right Around the Corner

The Floyd County Harvest Festival and County Fair is held one Saturday per year to celebrate the area’s heritage in local arts, crafts and agricultural traditions.

The fair features live music, art & crafts, country living exhibits & demonstrations, games, contests, food and more. Don’t miss the apple pie contest!

The event is moving to a new location this year. It will be held at the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office grounds on Fox Street, in downtown Floyd. The date and time will be Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
